Fresh bread for a weary soul.

If you’ve been feeling like a failure…

If you’ve been feeling like you’re disappointing everyone, including yourself…

When life in and of itself has been feeling heavy and weary, laced with discouragement…

Remember that there is One who never disappoints.

One who never fails.

One who is the restorer of faith and hope.

One whose yoke is easy and burden is light.

His name is Jesus.

If it’s been a long time since you’ve come into His presence with a heart that says “Only You, Lord” or “You alone are enough to satisfy,” it may be time to get on your hands and knees to seek His face.

Because you cannot live off of old bread.

You cannot live off of old revelation.

We need to feed our souls with the Bread of Life every day. A fresh revelation of His glory every day. A daily filling of faith and hope.

"When you said, 'Seek my face,' my heart said to you, 'O Lord, I will seek your face.'" - Psalm 27:8

Seek His face.

Get fresh bread.
Get fresh revelation. 
We need more of it.

So stay awhile, friends. 

Stay in that place of resting in His presence.

Dim the lights.
Pull down the blinds.
Eliminate the distractions.
Do whatever it takes.

"For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him." - Psalm 62:5 

Life is pretty dim and bleak when it’s not lived full of faith and hope.

Soak in His presence. Get in His Word. Seek a fresh revelation of His glory.
I have found this to be the only remedy for a heart heavy-laden.
