I’ve spent years creating and sharing short-form content on Instagram (which I love and will continue to do). But recently, I’ve felt a tug on my heart to return to sharing more fully and intentionally.

So this space was born out of that.

Out of a love for words. A deep love for Jesus. And also out of a growing desire to encourage women to slow down, plant deeper roots of faith, and step into the callings God has placed on their lives.

I long for this to be an intentional space for encouragement and connection — one that exists beyond the algorithm and noise of busy feeds.

I know. I know. Blogging feels pretty old school.

But I like old school. And maybe (just maybe), if you’re here ... you do too.

Is This a Little Old School? Probably.

A RETURN TO WORDS

Faith

Fresh bread for a weary soul.

If you’ve been feeling like a failure…if you’ve been feeling like you’re disappointing everyone, including yourself…when life in and of itself has been feeling heavy, laced with weariness and discouragement recently…remember that there is One who never disappoints. A return to reverence.

Rest

Rebellions aren’t usually good. But I think you’ll agree that this one is. Consider this my formal revolt against hustle culture. About rise and grind. About living in fight or flight mode.

Gifts and Calling

For the quiet ones.

This is for the quiet ones. The shy ones, the introverts. Maybe you have often felt like you’re on the outside. Maybe you have felt pressured to morph to [what feels like] a very extroverted world. Maybe you feel you’ll never make much of a difference in this loud world as a quiet soul.

When I put me first…

“When I put me first, everything else will fall into place.” … I was scrolling through Pinterest the other day when I saw these words splayed on a graphic. I see content like this often but for some reason these specific words have stuck with me in the days since. I keep mulling them over and feeling a deep sense of grief that this is the mentality a lot of people subscribe to for purpose and direction in life.
