This is for the quiet ones.
The shy ones, the introverts.
Maybe you have often felt like you’re on the outside. Maybe you have felt pressured to morph to [what feels like] a very extroverted world. Maybe you see the ones on center stage filled with charisma and commanding attention — and think that is success. Maybe you feel you’ll never make much of a difference in this loud world as a quiet soul.
I want to encourage you today.
I want to tell you you’re seen.
I want to tell you you’re needed.
Some may see quietness as weakness, as a negative thing. But dig up some verses in the Bible on quietness and you’ll find it’s quite the opposite. It’s almost always accompanied by waiting on God, trusting in God, hearing God—and associated with humility and meekness. All good things. All VERY good things.
So take joy. Your quiet nature is a gift. You are well positioned to wait and trust and hear, friend. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You can embrace being fearfully and wonderfully quiet!

Personality is such an interesting thing. God crafts people so so differently. I believe we all carry unique aspects of God’s nature (His personality, so to speak). And I know for certain we are all are needed to work together as a body.
He made the quiet ones and we need them.
He made the noise makers and we need them.
He make the writers and we need them.
He made the public speakers and we need them.
Always always invite God to reveal what parts of your personality need molded and refined by Him. And specifically ask God to challenge the areas where your quietness may be fueled by fear and insecurity.
But don’t wish away or try to change who you simply are. Because you are needed. We are needed.
I pray you have the courage to build relationships, to love on others, and to stand firm for the Gospel. I pray over you quiet confidence, quiet boldness and quiet strength. And I pray you come to understand God’s unique gifting and calling on your life…and to use that—to use your quietness—for His glory ♥️
xoxo
